Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva No. 50 Maduro
One of the most difficult cigars to find on any given day, the Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva (Anejo is Spanish for “aged”) is a rare cigar that shares the same quality filler tobaccos from the OpusX that are grown at the Chateau Fuente farm but has an extremely dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that is cured in cognac barrels for 6-8 months. This unique combination creates a rich sweet and spicy smoke full of maduro tobacco flavors. These cigars are usually only released around Father’s Day and Christmas, so make sure you grab some while they are available, because they won’t be available for long!
The wrappers for the Fuente Añejo series are aged for one year in oak Cognac barrels! These wrappers, when combined with what are some of the finest filler tobacco grown today, create a cigar that is truly unlike any other in the world.
Few cigars command as much respect as the Añejo series and when they do become available it is a veritable feeding frenzy as cigar aficionados and collectors worldwide vie for these incredible cigars. Every holiday season, the Fuentes release a new batch of Añejo cigars. Released in six sizes, including the infamous “No. 77 Shark,” these cigars will sell out in a hurry. So, for all of you Fuente fans, move quickly! The Fuente Añejo cigars do not stay stock long.
