Drew Estate’s coffee-infused Tabak Especial line of cigars has a new size. This Vitola is exclusive to the company’s international distributors.
The Tabak Especial Toraja is a 5 x 54 Robusto extra cigar that uses two different wrappers. Most of the cigar is covered in an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper, the same one used on the Tabak Especial Dulce, while the top part of the cigar has a Mexican Maduro wrapper that is used on the Tabak Especial Negra. Underneath is a Sumatran binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The Tabak Especial lines are infused with coffee flavors.
Its name is a reference to Toraja, Indonesia, more specifically the coffee that comes from the area, which is located 1,500 meters above sea level. The company says a small amount of Toraja coffee is grown in Nicaragua and is used for special occasions.
